  • No, contrary to popular perception, hypnotherapy does not involve losing control. Individuals remain aware and in control throughout the session. Hypnotherapy aims to empower individuals, not manipulate them.

  • Most people can be hypnotised, but responsiveness can vary. Factors such as willingness and openness to the process may influence the effectiveness of hypnotherapy, as well as utilising the recordings in the correct way that has been advised.

  • Hypnotherapy can assist with a range of issues, including stress management, anxiety, depression, fear of needles, sleep quality, cultivating habit change, managing triggers or triggering environments, smoking/drinking/drug cessation, and overcoming phobias. It can also enhance the mind body relationship, foster body positivity and install more positive beliefs about your fertility.

  • Listening with headphones may enhance your experience, however this is not compulsory.

  • The recordings vary, however typically they last between 20-30 minutes. They are designed to be this length to account for adequate relaxation and induction into a trance state, during a typically or potentially stressful time.

  • Within the description for each download is advice on when and how often you should listen to your recording. Listening to your tracks before sleep is the optimal time as this is when your mind is most susceptible to hypnotherapy. However any time of day is beneficial. You may notice a difference in just one session, however repeated use will incur more powerful shifts. If you notice resistance or negative inner chatter whilst listening to your recordings, then this is an examples of where someone may benefit more from daily, repeated listening.

  • Please listen to your hypnotherapy in a safe space where you will be undisturbed. Hypnotherapy is not for use whilst driving, operating machinery or whilst you are presently responsible for someone’s care.

  • Hypnotherapy is safe, and rarely causes any negative side effects. Some individuals may experience temporary feelings of tiredness or ‘fuzziness’ after a session. These side effects are usually mild and short-lived.

  • Hypnotherapy should not be viewed as a replacement for medical or psychological treatment. It can complement conventional therapies but is not a substitute for them. Always consult a healthcare professional regarding medical concerns.

  • I am a fully trained, qualified, certified and insured Hypnotherapist.

  • No. These hypnotherapy recordings are not available to anyone from the American or Canadian markets.

  • The hypnotherapy tracks have been designed to enhance (not interfere) with your IVF cycle. Many IVF and fertility clinics are positively encouraging towards the effects of hypnotherapy as a safe and gentle therapeutic tool. If you have concerns about these, you may discuss this with your clinic or consultant first. The use of the egg retrieval or embryo transfer hypnotherapy recordings are not advised at the exact time of your procedures and ESPECIALLY if you have not received hypnotherapy before or listened to any of the recordings in advance.
